IECD – European Institute for Cooperation and Development

To foster a new generation of fulfilled professionals and engaged citizens, driving the transformation of their community into a just, sustainable, and hopeful society.

Since its creation in 1988, the European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD), an international solidarity organization recognized as being of public utility, has been supporting the human, economic, and social development of the countries in which it operates.

With its partners in sub-Saharan Africa, the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean basin, and Southeast Asia, IECD implements projects in the fields of education and guidance, vocational training and integration, and entrepreneurship.

The IECD bases its action on a comprehensive approach to the individual. Convinced that individuals who are well-trained academically, technically, socially, and humanly will build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities, the IECD encourages young people, parents, professionals, and local stakeholders to take an active and responsible role in community life.

To date, IECD has supported over 400,000 young people and entrepreneurs, making a lasting contribution to transforming lives.
