Initiatives are taken every year to enable young people from technical schools to train and find work in their country.
Projects to support for 2026:
Project 2025-540 – Computer room equipment 15 workstations + 1 laptop – Rukago (Burundi) – €5,500 – Training center for 92 students aged 16 to 25 from poor families, including 42 girls.
A vocational center founded in 1962, located in one of Burundi’s overpopulated provinces. The vocational center has 4 sections: automotive mechanics, construction, welding, and kitchen and hotel management. The equipment in computer technology is integrated into the training programs to enable young people to develop their skills in this field and find work.

Project 2026-589 – Computer equipment – Consumables and small tools for carpentry workshop – Ebolowa (Cameroon) – 4 600 € (100%) – Training center for 100 students, including 40 girls
«For quality training, young people also need a comfortable space to learn, which is why we need to find the necessary means to ensure successful integration for our young people. Therefore, for successful integration, we need quality training and equipment that are in line with the times of new technology.» K Kouhalama, Director of the ITDB Ebolowa. The requested budget covers the purchase of equipment for the carpentry workshop, as well as office equipment.
Project 2026-613 – Material for the construction of the TP workshop of Civil Engineering – I3P Pointe Noire (Congo) – 5000 € (28%)
The TP F4 (masonry, topography…) takes place on a site of 5,925.38m2, approximately (150mx 40m). In 2025, the construction of the civil engineering building (R+1) began in TP with the students; we have already completed the 16 insulated slabs. To enable the implementation of the utility TP by evolving the project, the I3P is seeking support for the purchase of materials.
Project 2026-614 – Network support for the IT section and 15 PCs – I3P Pointe noire (Congo) – 5000 € (53%)
Thanks to the funding support of the Fondation DON BOSCO France, the Pierre PRIE Polytechnic Institute acquired ten laptops, a scanner, a photocopier – printer and a video projector – equipment that enabled the support of 12 students enrolled in the second year of the SIN (Information and Digital System). Today, the number of students in the SIN system has increased to 60, which requires the strengthening of the equipment to better support networking – telecommunications (H5), programming (H3) and maintenance (H4). This therefore involves the acquisition of small IT equipment (routers, cables, power inverters, sockets, switches, connectors), as well as 15 complete PCs with licenses and a video projector.
