The Lakou Bosco association supports many young people as part of its mission.
Our support missions are extremely diverse. For example, we support families with a specific difficulty, we support young people in their job search, but also From time to time, we are given the opportunity to help a young person achieve their dream.
We are fortunate to be supporting Jade, a fifteen-year-old Guadeloupean girl who is passionate and determined. Jade has long formalized and presented her dream: to have an educational experience in Toronto, Canada, as part of her sophomore year internship.
This project is part of our mission to encourage young people to open themselves to the world and dare to embrace the future.

Hello, my name is Jade, I am 15 years old. I live in Guadeloupe, where I am currently a student in the Euro-Caribbean second year at Bainbridge high school in Les Abymes.
Since I was in middle school, I've always been fascinated by foreign languages, and particularly by the English language and North American culture. This is what pushed me to choose an international-focused program, with a clear dream: to one day be able to study and have an experience abroad., In the United States or Canada.
Today, a unique opportunity presents itself to me: to complete my sophomore internship in Toronto., in Canada, in June 2026. This internship represents much more than just a school experience: it is an immersion in an English-speaking country, an opening to the world, an unforgettable human and cultural experience, but also an essential step for my future..
For two years, I am working passionately to make this project a reality: research, initiatives, participation in school activities...
As part of my membership in the Lakou Bosco association, I benefit from the support of Lakou Bosco educators and social workers, who believe in my project and accompany me in its realization.
With their help, I built my budget. The total project cost amounts to 2,500 euros (30 hours of intensive training, homestay accommodation, airplane ticket, transport, processing fees, registration fees, etc.)
