Participate in the construction project of the Lakou Bosco Village in the heart of the Abymes neighborhoods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Objective<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current location of Lakou Bosco, situated in the heart of the working-class neighborhoods of Abymes (located in an Active Monitoring Zone and close to Priority Urban Areas), allows for the implementation of numerous initiatives for young people and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current development of our association requires a major construction project: the Lakou Bosco village, carefully designed with young people and their families to meet their expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Context<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lakou Bosco is an innovative association that supports young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods through a comprehensive approach. We work in their three main environments: their neighborhood, school, and family, to offer continuous support. Our approach is not limited to young people; we also work with their parents to offer them tailored support and strengthen their educational role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We work closely with socio-educational partners, the national education system, and employment insertion professionals to build a strong network around young people and their parents. What sets us apart is our ability to reach out to the most vulnerable, right in the heart of their neighborhoods, by offering a holistic approach. It's also this complementarity of actions and stakeholders working together to recreate a village spirit, where each individual plays a central role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognized by public authorities, Lakou Bosco benefits from approvals such as Social Center by the CAF, Collective Reception of Minors by the DRAJES, Third Place by the Department of Guadeloupe, and finally the \u00abacademic\u00bb approval by the rectorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In summary, Lakou Bosco is not simply an educational structure. It is a true territorial solidarity project, acting for and with the inhabitants, valuing everyone's strengths to build a more just and harmonious common future for our youth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to allow for the development of Lakou Bosco, a large construction project was conceived with young people and families. This is the Lakou Bosco Village project, which will allow us to respond more broadly to the challenges faced by the inhabitants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lakou Bosco village will be a meeting space with several living areas, including a large house with a living room, a kitchen, and a DIY workshop \u00abrepair caf\u00e9,\u00bb a lakou space, as well as a sports field and 2 multi-activity rooms: multimedia space, workspace, game library, sports space, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The building is under construction, the foundation stone was laid in February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the walls, there will be educational materials to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
